Terms of Use

By accessing or using TradeCraft ("the Service"), operated by SystemAlpha, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

TradeCraft is a trading journal and performance tracking application for traders. It allows you to log and import trades, track prop firm accounts, build playbooks and trading plans, and review your performance over time.

TradeCraft is a personal productivity tool. It does not provide financial advice, trading signals, or investment recommendations. Nothing in the Service constitutes advice to buy or sell any financial instrument.

You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeCraft. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials, sync keys, and saved AI keys secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information when creating your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service, other than the sync tools we provide
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

You own the trade data, journal entries, and content you create in TradeCraft. By using the Service, you grant SystemAlpha a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your trading data and will never sell it to third parties.

TradeCraft is a journaling and tracking tool only. The analytics, statistics, pre-trade checks, prop firm calculations, and performance metrics displayed are based solely on data you enter or import. They are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial or investment advice.

Trading financial instruments involves significant risk of loss. SystemAlpha is not responsible for any trading losses you incur.

AI-generated feedback, summaries, and drafts may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them; you remain responsible for every trading decision. When you use your own AI provider key, that provider's terms and charges apply.

The MT5 plugin's position sizer calculates a lot size from the stop, risk per trade, and prop firm limits in your journal, and can place an order in your own MT5 terminal when you press Trade and confirm. If you turn on its breakeven, partial-close or trailing-stop settings, it changes matching positions automatically. If you enable its Equity Defender, it closes all positions and deletes pending orders on the account when a limit you set is reached, and blocks new trades. If you set trading limits with Enforce on, it closes any trade on the account that breaks them, including trades you place by hand. It never opens a trade on its own.

Calculations depend on your broker's symbol settings, prices, and the data in your journal, and may be wrong. Check the size, stop, and target before confirming. SystemAlpha is not responsible for orders you place or their results, including slippage, rejections, broker errors, or stops moved, positions closed or trades blocked by settings you enabled. The Equity Defender works only while the plugin is running and connected, and is not a guarantee against breaching a prop firm rule.

Imported and synced trades, balances, and prop firm limits are only as accurate as the data you provide. Always confirm figures against your broker or prop firm, whose records are authoritative.

We aim to keep TradeCraft available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SystemAlpha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of TradeCraft, including but not limited to trading losses, data loss, or loss of profits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SystemAlpha operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
